This is by the Grace of My Lord Metal هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي‎

هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي‎ | "This is by the Grace of My Lord".

Surat An Naml 40

This verse is a humbling reminder that nothing we own, or that we are, is from our own doing. It is all by His Grace.

Prophet Solomon was the first to express this with regards to giving thanks to Allah (swt). In context: “This is a Virtue (blessing) of my Lord that he may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful”. And whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is Self-Sufficient (Rich, Free of all needs), Honored (the Most Generous).
